e-WindEng Journal

The e-Windeng Journal was born as the journal/repository of the WindEng Network (www.windeng.net) funded under the FP5 EU, Improving Human Potential programme, IHP, Network activity.

Here, the research reports resulting from the activity of the young researchers working in the network  were published.

The Journal has now been extended to the ModObs Network PhD students and to young researchers below 35 outside the network. This will allow them to be referred for original ideas from data analysis of experimental campaign, new concepts etc.

e-Windeng accept original research note or papers from young European researchers aged 35 or less, for publications after a peer review process of a review panel.

Copyright of short notes will remain to the authors who might then submit developments to other Journals.

e-WindEng address the following topic areas applied to wind energy assessment and wind engineering.

  1. Aeroelastic Design

  2. Atmospheric Physics

  3. Electrical Design and Control

  4. Wind Power Meteorology

  5. Wind Turbines

  6. Wind Turbine Diagnostics

  7. Wind Energy Market
